VBS

Tomorrow is the last day of Vacation Bible School. It's been a great week and we have lots of people to thank for making our very first VBS a success! The kids will have a special program first thing on Sunday morning, so parents be sure to be at church on time. Also, the kids should wear the VBS t-shirts they made this week.

Happy Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day!

As you prepare for a day at the beach or a BBQ with friends, be sure to thank God for the common grace we enjoy along with other citizens of this country in the freedoms that were so preciously bought, even though sometimes callously ignore them (even on holidays dedicated to their remembrance!).

Also, if you have a moment or two, spend some time thinking about the relationship we have as citizens of two kingdoms: this earthly kingdom under the rule and government of the United States, and the heavenly kingdom under the rule and government of divine grace.  For some good resources, I recommend Modern Reformation magazine! :)
